To even get nominated is an enormous honour, but we are not satisfied with a Cumbrian Festival just being equal. We want to prove that Cumbria can provide a better festival experience than anywhere else in the country. In short, we want to win!
Despite the fact that Solfest with its capacity of only 10,000 is a fraction of the size of its larger rivals, the proportional representation ratio used to count the votes means that we still have a good chance of bringing a UK Festival Award back to Cumbria.
